2. Principles
- Cookies: We use cookies for analytics and advertising only when you consent (see section 8). Otherwise, we do not set non-essential cookies.
- We process personal data in particular when you contact us or submit an inquiry for appointment scheduling.
3. Hosting (Cloudflare Pages)
This website is provided via Cloudflare Pages. With each access to the website, technically necessary data is processed to deliver the content and ensure security (e.g., IP address, date and time, accessed page/URL, referrer URL, user agent/browser information).
Purpose: Delivery of the website, stability and security (e.g., defense against attacks).
Legal basis: Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR (legitimate interest).
Storage duration: according to the hoster's specifications/log retention, as required.
4. Media Delivery (Cloudflare R2)
Images and videos may be delivered via Cloudflare R2. When accessing these media files, technical connection data is processed (in particular IP address, timestamp, requested file/URL and user agent) to provide the content.
Purpose: Performant and reliable provision of media content.
Legal basis: Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR (legitimate interest).
5. Video Embeddings (Cloudflare Stream, optional)
If we embed videos via Cloudflare Stream using an iframe, a connection to Cloudflare Stream is established when loading the embedded player. Technical data (e.g., IP address, timestamp, user agent) is processed to deliver the video.
6. Appointment/Contact Inquiries (Booking Form)
When you contact us via the booking form, we process the data you enter to answer your inquiry and, if applicable, take pre-contractual measures (appointment coordination).
Data categories (depending on input): Name, email address, optional phone number/city, tattoo details (e.g., style, preferred artist, placement, size, description) as well as age confirmation (18+).
Legal basis: Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR (performance of pre-contractual measures/communication for
appointment scheduling).
Recipient/Processor: Brevo (email delivery to forward your inquiry).
Storage duration: as long as required for processing the inquiry and within the scope of legal retention obligations.
Note: We do not use the form for newsletters/marketing. You will only receive emails in connection with your inquiry.
7. Statistics (PostHog Cloud, EU, cookieless)
We use PostHog Cloud (EU region) for purely statistical analysis of the use of this website (e.g., page views). PostHog is configured so that no cookies or local storage technologies are set/read for recognition.
Processed data (typically): accessed pages/URLs, referrer, technical device/browser data, timestamps and an IP address within the scope of technical provision. We do not track you across sites (no cross-site tracking).
Purpose: Understanding usage, improving the website (reach measurement).
Legal basis: Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR (legitimate interest).
Objection: You can object to the processing at any time by sending us an email at
highcontrasttattoo@gmail.com.
8. Google Ads (Conversion Tracking, Consent Mode v2)
We use Google Ads for conversion tracking and advertising. Google sets cookies and processes data only after you have given your consent via our consent bar. Until then, we use Google Consent Mode v2 with default "denied": no advertising cookies are set, and Google receives only limited, non-identifying data (e.g., for conversion measurement without cookies).
If you consent: Google may set cookies (e.g., _gcl_au, _gac_*) and process
data for conversion tracking, remarketing and similar purposes.
Purpose: Measuring advertising effectiveness, optimizing campaigns.
Legal basis: Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR (your consent).
Provider: Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.
Withdrawal: You can withdraw consent at any time by clearing cookies or using your browser settings.
You can also contact us to revoke consent.
9. External Links (Instagram, WhatsApp, Google Maps)
On our website you will find links to external providers (e.g., Instagram, WhatsApp, Google Maps). When you click on such a link, you leave our website. From that point on, the respective provider processes personal data on its own responsibility (e.g., IP address, possibly cookies/tracking technologies).
